Updated Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 Launched In India At Rs. 1.69 Lakh

New Colours and Features Added

Yamaha has launched the updated MT-15 Version 2.0 in India. The price starts at ₹1.69 lakh, and the top version (DLX) costs ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike now comes with new colours, a new digital display, and Bluetooth features.

Three New Colour Options

The new MT-15 V2.0 is now available in three fresh colours:

  • Ice Storm
  • Vivid Violet Metallic
  • Metallic Silver Cyan

These new paint options make the bike look more stylish and attractive. Some of these colours are available only in the DLX variant.

New Digital Display With Smart Features

The DLX version now gets a colour TFT screen. This is a modern screen that shows:

  • Turn-by-turn directions
  • Call and message alerts
  • Fuel and ride data
  • Bike service reminders
  • Last parked location
  • Ride rankings with other riders

You can connect your phone using Bluetooth with the Yamaha Y-Connect app.

Same Strong Engine

The engine is the same as the older version. It uses a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with VVA technology.
It gives:

  • 18.4 HP at 10,000 rpm
  • 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm

It has a 6-speed gearbox and includes assist and slipper clutch. This helps in smoother gear shifts. Traction control is also available as standard.

Comfortable and Light to Ride

The bike is built on the Delta Box frame, which makes it strong and stable. It also gets an aluminium swingarm, like in MotoGP bikes.

  • Weight: 141 kg
  • Suspension and brakes are the same as the older version
  • Easy to handle in city traffic and short trips

Conclusion

The 2025 Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 is a better version of an already popular bike. With new colours, smart screen, and more features, it is a great option for young riders who want style and performance in one bike.
