2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid Launched in India at ₹1.49 Lakh
Yamaha has launched a new bike in India — the 2025 FZ-X Hybrid. It costs ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the first time the FZ-X gets a hybrid version. The normal (non-hybrid) FZ-X is still there and costs ₹1.29 lakh.
New Hybrid System
The new FZ-X Hybrid has a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system. This helps:
- Give extra power when you start or speed up.
- Turn off the engine when you stop to save fuel.
- Start the engine again quickly when you press the clutch.
This makes the bike smoother and uses less petrol.
New Features
The hybrid model comes in a new Matte Titan colour. The normal model is still in Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black.
It has a new 4.2-inch color screen (TFT). You can connect it to your phone using Yamaha’s Y-Connect app.

Engine and Performance
The bike has a 149 cc engine. It makes 12.4 PS power and 13.3 Nm torque. It has a 5-speed gearbox.
It has front telescopic forks and a rear adjustable shock for better comfort.

- It also has traction control and single-channel ABS for safety.
