Pre-Bookings for VinFast VF 6 & VF 7 Start Tomorrow in India
VinFast will start taking pre-bookings for its VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs tomorrow in India. These new EVs will officially launch during the festive season later this year.
VinFast’s Big Plans for India
VinFast is working fast to grow in India. The company has joined hands with 13 dealer groups to open 32 showrooms in 27 cities. By the end of 2025, VinFast wants to have 35 showrooms.
They also showed the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs in many cities during a road tour after first showing them at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi.
About VinFast VF 7
The VF 7 is the bigger SUV. It has:
- A sporty design with a sloping roof (coupe-style)
- A long LED light bar at the back
- Hidden door handles
- 19-inch alloy wheels

- Width: 1,890 mm
- Height: 1,636 mm
The VF 7 will come in two versions:
- Front-wheel-drive version (about ₹25 lakh)
- All-wheel-drive version with two motors (about ₹30 lakh)

- 201 hp and 309 Nm torque in standard version (range: 451 km)
- 348 hp and 499 Nm torque in Plus version (range: 431 km)

About VinFast VF 6
The VF 6 is the smaller SUV. It has:
- 59.6 kWh battery
- One electric motor making 204 hp and 310 Nm torque

- Driving range up to 480 km per charge
Production in India
VinFast is making a new factory in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, where these EVs will be made locally.
