Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to bring two new SUVs to India soon. One will be a hybrid SUV, and the other will be an electric SUV. Let’s learn more about them!
🚗 New Hybrid SUV — Might Be Called Escudo
- This new SUV will have 5 seats.
- It will be a bit longer than the Grand Vitara, but cheaper.
- It will be sold in Arena showrooms, not Nexa.
- Price will be around ₹10 lakh to ₹15 lakh.
Engine:
- Same petrol engines as the Grand Vitara.
- Will have mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid options.
- A CNG version may also come later.
Features:
- Design similar to Grand Vitara.
- Inside, it may have:
- 9-inch touchscreen
- Many airbags for safety
- Digital instrument display

⚡ New Electric SUV — e Vitara
- This SUV will be fully electric.
- It will come around September 2025, during festival time.
- It will have three variants: Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
- There will be two battery options:
- 48.8 kWh battery
- 61.1 kWh battery (can go up to 500 km on one charge).
Other details:
- Only front-wheel drive.
- Can charge from 0% to 80% in about 50 minutes.
- Will come in 10 color options.
