Slight Growth in July 2025
Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,80,526 cars in July 2025, which is a little more than the 1,75,041 cars sold in July 2024. Even though sales in India stayed almost the same, the company saw good growth in exports.
Where the Sales Came From
Out of the 1.80 lakh cars sold:
- 1,40,570 cars were sold in India
- 31,745 cars were exported to other countries
- Over 8,000 cars were made for Toyota as part of a partnership
Exports Increased the Most
The best news for Maruti Suzuki was in exports. The company sent 8,000 more cars overseas than it did in July last year. This helped Maruti grow overall, even though sales in India were nearly the same.
Small Cars and Hatchbacks Sell Well
- Sales of small cars like the Alto and S-Presso went down to 6,822 units, which is about 3,100 less than last year.
- However, cars like the Swift, Baleno, and WagonR did very well with 65,667 units sold. These are popular family cars and helped increase the overall numbers.
Ciaz Sedan and SUVs See Drop
- The Ciaz sedan, which is a mid-size car, only sold 173 units, which is very low.
- Sales of SUVs like Brezza, Ertiga, and Grand Vitara also went down. Maruti sold 52,773 SUVs, compared to 56,302 in July last year.
Van and Small Goods Vehicle Sales
- The Eeco van sold 12,341 units, which is a small increase from last year.
- The Super Carry, a small commercial vehicle, had a very small drop in sales (less than 100 units difference).
Total Sales So Far This Year (April to July)
From April to July 2025, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 7.08 lakh cars. This is more than the 6.96 lakh cars sold during the same time last year. So, even if the monthly growth is small, the company is doing well overall.
In Simple Words
