Maruti Suzuki July 2025 Sales Breakdown – Top Models & Market Trends

In July 2025, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,37,776 cars in India. This is almost the same as July 2024 (1,37,463 cars).
Compared to June 2025, when Maruti sold 1,18,906 cars, sales went up by 16%.

Best-Selling Car – Dzire

The Maruti Dzire was the top-selling car in July 2025.

  • Sold 20,895 units
  • This is 79% higher than July 2024 (11,647 units)
  • The big jump is because of a new model launch in late 2024

The Ciaz sedan, on the other hand, sold only 173 units, a 71% drop from last year.

Hatchbacks – Mixed Results

  • Wagon R – 14,710 units (9% less than last year)
  • Swift – 14,190 units (16% less)
  • Baleno – 12,503 units (34% more) – very strong growth

SUVs – Brezza & Fronx Doing Well

  • Brezza – 14,065 units (4% less than last year)
  • Fronx – 12,872 units (18% more)
  • Grand Vitara – 6,373 units (32% less)
  • Jimny – only 362 units (85% less)

MPVs & Vans – Ertiga on Top

  • Ertiga – 16,604 units (6% more)
  • Eeco – 12,341 units (4% more)
  • XL6 – 2,146 units (27% less)
  • Invicto – 351 units (40% more)

Small Cars – Falling Demand

  • Alto – 5,910 units (20% less)
  • Ignis – 1,977 units (11% less)
  • S-Presso – 912 units (65% less)
  • Celerio – 1,392 units (44% less)

Key Points to Note

  • Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, and Ertiga were the main growth drivers.
  • Small budget cars like Alto, S-Presso, and Celerio are losing popularity.
  • SUV sales are strong overall, but Jimny and Grand Vitara need improvement.
  • Maruti Suzuki is holding steady in sales but faces tough competition from Mahindra in SUVs.
