Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a major update for the newly launched BE 6 Batman Edition, following an exceptional customer response in the Indian market. Originally limited to just 300 units, the allocation has now been expanded to 999 units, tripling the numbers in an effort to meet demand.

The special-edition electric SUV made its debut on August 14, 2025, at a price of ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the range-topping Pack 3 variant, the Batman Edition comes equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack, placing it among Mahindra’s most premium BE (Born Electric) offerings.
Partnership with Warner Bros.
The BE 6 Batman Edition is the result of a unique collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP). The tie-up has allowed Mahindra to incorporate authentic design elements inspired by DC’s legendary superhero, making it one of the most distinctive EVs in India today.
Booking Process in Two Phases
Bookings for the limited-edition SUV are structured in two distinct steps:
- Phase I (21st August, 5 PM): Customers can add the BE 6 Batman Edition to their cart via Mahindra’s official website.
- Phase II (23rd August, 11 AM): Buyers must confirm their booking by paying a token amount of ₹21,000 on Mahindra’s digital platform. Once confirmed, customers can select a personalized badge number ranging between 001 to 999.
Interestingly, Mahindra has kept the badge numbers non-exclusive, meaning multiple customers could opt for the same number. Deliveries are scheduled to begin September 20, 2025—strategically aligned with International Batman Day.
Design Highlights
The BE 6 Batman Edition is an attention-grabber with a custom Satin Black paint scheme accentuated by bold Batman decals on the doors. It stands tall on 20-inch alloy wheels, with Alchemy Gold suspension and brake callipers giving it a striking contrast. Signature branding includes:
- “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” badging on the tailgate
- Multiple Bat emblems on hubcaps, quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, and windshield
- Infinity Roof with the Bat emblem projection
