In June 2025, the Kia Carens became the most sold Kia car in India. It sold more than the Sonet and Seltos, which were earlier the top-selling Kia cars.
Kia’s Total Car Sales in June 2025
Kia sold 20,625 cars in India in June 2025.
This number is:
- Lower than May 2025, when Kia sold 22,315 cars
- Lower than June 2024, when Kia sold 21,300 cars
This means sales dropped by 8% from May and 3% from last year. But still, Kia sold more than 20,000 cars, which is good.
Kia Carens Sales Increased the Most
The Kia Carens was the only car from Kia that sold more cars in both monthly and yearly comparison.
Carens Sales Numbers:
- June 2025: 7,921 cars sold
- May 2025: 4,524 cars sold
- June 2024: 5,154 cars sold
This means Carens sales went up by 75% from May and 54% from last year.
Why Carens Sales Are Growing
The big reason is the launch of a new version called the Carens Clavis. This version has many new features and updates. It was launched recently and starts at a price of ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

While Carens is doing very well, Sonet and Seltos sold fewer cars in June.

- May 2025: 8,054 units
- June 2024: 9,816 units
Sonet sales dropped by 32% compared to last year and 17% compared to May.
Kia Seltos Sales:
- June 2025: 5,225 units
- May 2025: 6,082 units
- June 2024: 6,306 units
Seltos sales dropped by 17% from last year and 14% from last month.
