India is buying more and more electric vehicles (EVs)!
From April to June 2025 (Q2), India sold 5,30,386 EVs. This is 34% more than last year, when 3,96,719 EVs were sold.
Now, EVs are 8% of all vehicles sold in India.
India has over 64 lakh (6.44 million) EVs on the roads now.
