BMW Group India has made a new record! From January to June 2025, BMW, Mini, and BMW bikes (Motorrad) together sold 10,343 vehicles in India.
🚘 Car Sales
- BMW and Mini sold 7,774 cars.
- This is 10% more than last year.
- BMW sold 7,477 cars, and Mini sold 297 cars.
- Every month from April to June had the highest sales ever.
🚙 Big Cars Did Well
Big cars with long wheelbase (LWB) did really well.
- Cars like 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, and iX1 LWB were popular.
- Sales of these big cars grew by 159%.
- Now, they make up 47% of BMW’s total car sales.
- The 5 Series was the most loved sedan.
- The 3 Series was the top in its class.
⚡ Electric Cars Growing Fast
BMW’s electric cars sold very well.
- Sold 1,322 electric cars in the first six months.
- Sales grew by 234% compared to last year.
- Now, 18% of BMW’s cars are electric.
- The iX1 LWB was the top-selling electric car, followed by the i7.
🚙 SUVs Very Popular
BMW’s SUVs grew by 17%.
- SUVs now make up 59% of BMW’s car sales.
- The X1 was the best-selling SUV and made up 30% of sales.

Mini sold 297 cars.

BMW sold 2,569 bikes in the first half of 2025.

- The 900 GS and 1300 GS were top in adventure bikes.

Luxury cars like 7 Series, i7, X7, and XM did very well.
- The X7 has now sold over 5,000 units since launch.
