🚘 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe — Bookings Open Before July 17 Launch!
BMW India has started bookings for the new 2 Series Gran Coupe. The car will launch in India on July 17, 2025. You can book it at BMW showrooms or on their website. The car will be made in Chennai.
✨ New Look and New Features
The new car still has a low and sporty look, but it now looks sharper and more stylish.
Inside the car:
- Big curved screen with two displays: one 10.25-inch screen for the driver and one 10.7-inch touch screen for music, maps, and more.
- New system called BMW Operating System 9.
- Front seats have a massage feature.
- Big glass sunroof.
⚙️ Engine and Driving
- New engines and better suspension for a smooth and sporty drive.
- More safety and driver help features.
In other countries, there are different versions:
- Petrol models: 216, 220, 223 xDrive, and M235 xDrive.
- Diesel models: 218d and 220d.
- Power goes from 120 hp to 296 hp.
- All versions come with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The fastest version, M235 xDrive, goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
Some models have a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that gives extra power and helps save fuel.

In India right now, we have the 220i M Sport and 220d M Sport. We don’t know yet which versions of the new model will come to India.
