Mahindra Vision S Concept Unveiled – Defender Looks, Next-Gen Scorpio Vibes

Mahindra Shows New SUV Idea

Mahindra has shown the Vision S concept at the Freedom NU event on Independence Day. Along with it, Mahindra also showed the Vision T and Vision SXT concepts. All of these new models will be made on Mahindra’s NU IQ platform, which can be used for different kinds of SUVs.

The Vision S is expected to be part of the Scorpio family. The “S” in the name stands for Scorpio. It could be the next generation of the Scorpio or even a new electric Scorpio in the future.

Tough and Stylish Design

The Vision S looks a bit smaller than the current Scorpio N, but it has a very strong and bold look. From some angles, it looks like a smaller version of the Land Rover Defender, but with Mahindra’s own style.

It has:

  • Inverted L-shaped LED headlights and extra LED lights in the grille
  • Quad LED lamps in the bumper
  • Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo in the centre
  • Two-tone paint and thick black cladding
  • Star-shaped 19-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers
  • Jerry can holders on the sides for an adventure feel

Built for Adventure

Other details that stand out are:

  • Side steps to help you get in
  • Flush door handles that sit flat
  • Tail lamps that match the front light design
  • High stop lamp and a roof ladder
  • Spare wheel fixed on the back door
  • Fuel tank lid on the left side, showing this concept may have a petrol or diesel engine
