Kia sold 22,135 cars in India in July 2025. This is 8% more than the 20,507 cars sold in July 2024. Compared to June 2025, sales also went up by 7%. The Sonet was the best-selling Kia car, followed by the Carens and Seltos.
Sonet – Still the No. 1 Kia Model
The Kia Sonet sold 7,627 units in July 2025. This is 19% less than the 9,459 units sold in July last year, but sales grew 15% compared to June 2025. The Sonet continues to be the most popular Kia model in India.
Carens – Strong Growth
The Kia Carens sold 7,602 units, which is a big 34% increase compared to 5,679 units in July 2024. This growth came after the launch of the Carens Clavis facelift and the new electric Carens EV.
Seltos – Steady Performer
The Kia Seltos sold 6,010 units in July 2025, up 12% from 5,347 units last year. It also saw a 15% increase compared to June 2025.
Syros & Carnival – Smaller Numbers
- Kia Syros sold 834 units, which is 8% more than in June 2025.
- Kia Carnival sold 62 units, up 32% from last month.
- The EV6 had no sales in July 2025, compared to 22 units last year.

What’s Next for Kia?
Kia is expected to launch the next-generation Seltos in 2026. It may get a new design, better interiors, and even a hybrid engine. Kia also plans to bring more electric cars to India in the future.
