🚗 Tata’s Big Plan Till 2030
Tata Motors has a plan to launch 23 new cars in India by 2030. These will include petrol, diesel, and electric cars.
Out of these, 7 will be completely new cars that have never been sold before. These new models will be very important for Tata’s growth in the future.
🏆 Tata Sierra – Making a Comeback
The Tata Sierra is returning to the market before March 2026.
- Will come in Electric (EV) and Petrol versions
- Electric version will launch first
- Petrol engine: 1.5L turbo-petrol (168 PS, 280 Nm)
- Diesel option: 2.0L diesel (170 PS, 350 Nm) – same as Harrier & Safari
- Will have both manual and automatic gearboxes
The Sierra EV will be a premium SUV with modern features and long driving range.

⚡ Avinya – Tata’s Premium Electric Future
The Tata Avinya started as a concept car and will soon become a real production model.
- Will be a premium electric car
- May become a separate brand from Tata after 2027
- Built on the EMA EV platform, which Tata will make in India to keep prices lower
🔍 Other New Cars in the Plan
Tata has also hinted at more new cars:
- ICE Product A: New petrol/diesel model (details not shared yet)
- ICE Product B: Another new petrol/diesel car
- EV Product X: All-new electric car
- EV Product Y: Another new EV design
🚙 Tata Scarlet – New Compact SUV
Tata is working on a new compact SUV that may be called the Tata Scarlet.
It will compete with cars like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza.

💰 Big Investment
Tata will spend ₹35,000 crore to make these new cars.
This money will be used for new technology, local production, and new platforms for both petrol/diesel and electric cars.
📅 Expected Launch Timeline
- 2025: Tata Sierra EV and petrol versions
- 2026-2027: Tata Avinya, Tata Scarlet, ICE Product A & B, EV Product X & Y
