Kia Shows Strong Sales in July 2025

Kia India sold 22,135 cars in the Indian market in July 2025. This is an 8% increase compared to 20,507 cars sold in July 2024. The main reason for this growth is the strong demand for the Carens Clavis and its electric version, the Carens Clavis EV.

Kia also sent 2,590 cars to other countries from India last month.

Total Sales in 2025 So Far

From January to July 2025, Kia sold 1,63,439 cars in India. This is more than the 1,46,644 cars sold in the same period last year. That means Kia saw a growth of 11.45% in total sales this year.

Carens Clavis EV is a Big Hit

The Carens Clavis EV is India’s first electric seven-seater MPV. It has been getting a very good response from customers since bookings opened on July 22, 2025. You can book it at Kia showrooms or online with a token amount of ₹25,000.

    • 42 kWh – gives up to 404 km range
    • 51.4 kWh – gives up to 490 km range
  • Four variants: HTK Plus, HTX, HTX ER, HTX Plus ER

Mr. Joonso Cho, Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, said:

“Our growing sales show that Indian customers trust Kia. The Carens Clavis EV is getting a great response because it offers good range, space, and features at a fair price.”

More New Kia Cars Coming Soon

Kia is planning to launch more new cars in India:

  • New Kia Seltos (strong hybrid) – coming at the end of 2025
  • Syros EV (new electric SUV) – expected in the first half of 2026

These new models will give Indian customers more options in the hybrid and electric car market.
