Hero Vida VX2 Plus: Full Ride Review & 100-0% Range Test

Hero’s electric scooter brand Vida has launched a new scooter called VX2. It comes in two types: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. These scooters are made to be more affordable so more people can buy them.

You can buy the scooter fully or take it on a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan. In this plan, you pay from ₹0.96 per km, and you don’t have to worry about battery maintenance.

Battery and Range

The VX2 Go has a 2.2 kWh battery. It can go up to 92 km on one full charge.

The VX2 Plus has a 3.4 kWh battery, and it can go up to 142 km on one charge.

Both scooters have removable batteries, so you can take them out and charge them at home. With fast charging, you can charge the battery to 80% in about 1 hour. You can also charge it in three different ways, which is helpful.

Real Range Test

In a test from 100% to 0% battery, the VX2 Plus did a great job. It can easily handle daily travel in the city. The real range is close to what the company says if you ride carefully.

Design and Comfort

The VX2 scooters look modern and nice. They have 12-inch wheels, which help make the ride smooth even on bad roads.

The seat is big enough for two adults.

When you remove the battery on the VX2 Go, you get 33.2 liters of storage space, which is good for keeping a helmet or a small bag.

Features

All VX2 scooters have:

  • Turn-by-turn navigation (to help you find your way)
  • Remote lock (you can stop the scooter if someone tries to steal it)
  • Live tracking (you can see where your scooter is)

The VX2 Plus also has a 4.3-inch screen, smartphone connection, and software updates over the air.

Warranty and Service

All Vida scooters come with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty. You can get service at Hero’s 500+ service centers all over India.

You can book the scooter online or at the showroom.

Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)

If you choose the BaaS plan, you get a free battery replacement if the battery health goes below 70%. You can also use Vida’s fast charging stations.

Safety

The scooters come with many safety features:

  • Emergency Stop Signal (alerts people behind when you brake hard)
  • Fall Safe (turns off the scooter if it falls down)
  • Alerts for towing or theft

Conclusion

The Hero Vida VX2 Plus is a good electric scooter. It gives a good range, charges fast, and has many modern features. It is also backed by Hero’s large service network, so you don’t have to worry about service or support.

If you want to buy an electric scooter for daily use, the VX2 Plus is a great option.
