5 New Electric Scooters Coming Soon – Ather, TVS, Kinetic, Yamaha & More
Electric scooters are becoming very popular in India. They are easy to use and save money on petrol. Many big companies are planning to launch new electric scooters soon, before and after Diwali.
Here are 5 new electric scooters that will launch in the next few months!
1. Suzuki e-Access
The Suzuki e-Access was shown in January 2025. Suzuki has already started making it in their Gurgaon factory.
It has a 3.07 kWh battery and can go up to 95 km on one full charge.

2. TVS Orbiter
TVS is making a new cheap electric scooter called TVS Orbiter. It will cost less than Rs 1 lakh, so it will be more affordable.
It has a 2.2 kWh battery and can go 75–80 km on one charge. Its top speed will be around 70 km/h.
It will be cheaper than the TVS iQube.
3. Kinetic DX
Kinetic is bringing back its old scooter DX, but now as an electric scooter. It will launch before Diwali 2025.

- Different battery options
- Fast charging
Kinetic will also launch two more electric scooters after this.
4. Yamaha RY01
Yamaha is making its first electric scooter for India called RY01. It will come at the end of 2025 or early 2026.
It is based on the River Indie scooter. It will have a 4 kWh battery and can go about 100 km on one charge.
It will be a sporty scooter and may cost around Rs 1.5 lakh.
5. Ather EL
Ather is making a new electric scooter called EL.
It will cost less than Rs 1 lakh, so more people can buy it. Ather will show this new scooter on August 30, 2025, during its Community Day event.
