Toyota Sells Over 32,000 Units in July 2025 – Innova, Fortuner Lead the Charge

Total Sales in July 2025

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold a total of 32,575 vehicles in July 2025. This includes both cars sold in India and cars sent to other countries. Out of this number, 29,159 cars were sold in India, and 3,416 cars were exported. This is a 3% increase compared to July 2024, when Toyota sold 31,656 vehicles.

Sales Growth Over the Last Few Months

The last four months (April to July 2025) have also shown good sales. Toyota sold 1,19,632 vehicles during this time, which is more than the 1,04,861 vehicles sold during the same time in 2024.
From January to July 2025, Toyota sold 2,07,460 vehicles, a 14% increase from 1,81,906 vehicles sold in the same months of 2024.

Why Sales Are Going Up

According to Toyota, their sales are growing because customers are happy with their cars. Toyota is focusing on customer satisfaction, improving their cars, and expanding their reach across India.

Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, who leads Toyota’s sales and service, said that the good results are because of Toyota’s focus on customers and their strong product lineup.

New Special Editions for Festive Season

In July 2025, Toyota launched special editions of two popular cars – the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the Glanza. These special versions come with new looks and added features. They were launched for the festive season, and Toyota says customers have shown strong interest in them.

Innova HyCross Gets 5-Star Safety Rating

Toyota’s Innova HyCross received a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP, which is a crash test safety program in India. This rating means the car is very safe for both adults and children. This makes the Innova HyCross one of the safest MPVs in its class.

More Safety in the Glanza

Toyota also made the Glanza safer by adding six airbags in all versions of the car. This is part of a larger effort by car companies to make entry-level and mid-size cars safer for everyone.

What’s Coming Next

Toyota is planning to launch a new SUV called the Land Cruiser FJ (also known as the Mini Fortuner) in 2026. It will be a compact and tough SUV, good for both cities and rough roads. Many people are looking forward to this launch.

Summary

  • July 2025 sales: 32,575 vehicles (3% higher than last year)
  • Strong growth from January to July (14% increase)
  • Special editions of Glanza and Hyryder launched for festive season
  • Innova HyCross scored 5 stars in safety tests
