Hero Vida VX2 Plus: Full Ride Review & 100-0% Range Test

Hero’s electric scooter brand Vida has launched a new scooter called VX2. It comes in two types: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. These scooters are made to be more affordable so more people can buy them.

You can buy the scooter fully or take it on a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan. In this plan, you pay from ₹0.96 per km, and you don’t have to worry about battery maintenance.

Battery and Range

The VX2 Go has a 2.2 kWh battery. It can go up to 92 km on one full charge.

The VX2 Plus has a 3.4 kWh battery, and it can go up to 142 km on one charge.

Both scooters have removable batteries, so you can take them out and charge them at home. With fast charging, you can charge the battery to 80% in about 1 hour. You can also charge it in three different ways, which is helpful.

Real Range Test

In a test from 100% to 0% battery, the VX2 Plus did a great job. It can easily handle daily travel in the city. The real range is close to what the company says if you ride carefully.

Design and Comfort

The VX2 scooters look modern and nice. They have 12-inch wheels, which help make the ride smooth even on bad roads.

The seat is big enough for two adults.

When you remove the battery on the VX2 Go, you get 33.2 liters of storage space, which is good for keeping a helmet or a small bag.

Features

All VX2 scooters have:

  • Turn-by-turn navigation (to help you find your way)
  • Remote lock (you can stop the scooter if someone tries to steal it)
  • Live tracking (you can see where your scooter is)

The VX2 Plus also has a 4.3-inch screen, smartphone connection, and software updates over the air.

Warranty and Service

All Vida scooters come with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty. You can get service at Hero’s 500+ service centers all over India.

You can book the scooter online or at the showroom.

Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)

If you choose the BaaS plan, you get a free battery replacement if the battery health goes below 70%. You can also use Vida’s fast charging stations.

Safety

The scooters come with many safety features:

  • Emergency Stop Signal (alerts people behind when you brake hard)
  • Fall Safe (turns off the scooter if it falls down)
  • Alerts for towing or theft

Conclusion

The Hero Vida VX2 Plus is a good electric scooter. It gives a good range, charges fast, and has many modern features. It is also backed by Hero’s large service network, so you don’t have to worry about service or support.

If you want to buy an electric scooter for daily use, the VX2 Plus is a great option.

For the first week, only VIP guests and business people can visit. After that, from the next week, everyone can go and see the showroom.

Tesla will also open a second showroom in Delhi by the end of July 2025.

First Car: Tesla Model Y

The first Tesla car coming to India is the Model Y. It will come from Tesla’s factory in China.

People can start booking the car next week. The first deliveries will happen by the end of August 2025.

The Model Y is very popular and is the best-selling electric car in the world. That is why Tesla chose it first for India.

Price in India

In China, the Model Y price is around ₹28 lakh ($32,270). But in India, it will be more expensive because of high import taxes (about 70%).

After adding all taxes, the price in India may be even higher than in the US, where it costs around ₹40 lakh ($46,630).

Special Features of Model Y

The Tesla Model Y is a mid-size electric SUV. It has many good features like:

  • Heated and cool seats
  • Back seats that can move back for comfort
  • Automatic open/close boot
  • Big 15.4-inch touchscreen in the front

The car can also charge very fast. It can get up to 293 km range in just 15 minutes if charged with Tesla’s special chargers.

Charging in India

In the US, Tesla has more than 70,000 special chargers (called Superchargers). But in India, there is no such network yet.

Tesla plans to build these chargers slowly, step by step, in India.

Big Step for India

India is now the third largest car market in the world, after China and the US. Tesla coming to India is a big and important step.

Conclusion

Tesla’s first showroom in India will open on July 15, 2025, in Mumbai. The first car, Model Y, will soon be available to book and buy.

This is big news for electric car fans in India!

New Huawei Patent Reveals EV Battery With 3,000 Km RangeCategoriesElectric Cars

Huawei’s New Patent Unveils EV Battery With Massive 3,000 Km Range

Huawei’s New EV Battery Can Go 3,000 Km and Charge in 5 Minutes

Chinese tech company Huawei has shared a new idea for an electric car (EV) battery. This new battery can run for 3,000 km on one charge and can be fully charged in just 5 minutes.

If this becomes real, it can change the future of electric cars in a big way.

How is this battery different?

This battery is a solid-state battery, which is different from the normal batteries we see today.

Huawei has used a special material called nitrogen-doped sulfide electrolyte. Because of this, the battery can store more energy — almost 2 to 3 times more than normal lithium-ion batteries.

The battery is also more stable and safer. It does not have as many problems like overheating or catching fire. And the biggest plus point is that it can charge from 0 to 100% in only 5 minutes — faster than filling petrol in a car!

Can it really work in real life?

Even though this battery sounds amazing, experts say it may not be so easy to use in real life right now. There are some big problems:

  • Very costly: Making this battery is very expensive. The special material costs around ₹1.2 lakh per kWh.
  • No proper chargers yet: We do not have charging stations that can support such fast charging safely.

Huawei also does not make batteries yet, but they have started investing a lot in battery research. This shows they may plan to enter the battery market soon.

About the driving range

Huawei said the battery can run over 3,000 km on one charge. But this number is based on a test used in China called CLTC, which usually shows higher range.

If tested with stricter standards like in the USA (EPA test), the range will be around 2,000 km, which is still very impressive compared to today’s electric cars.

Other companies working on similar batteries

Big companies like Toyota, Samsung SDI, and CATL are also working on solid-state batteries. They plan to launch them between 2027 and 2030.

Huawei’s new idea has surprised many people. If they can make this battery for real, it will remove two big problems in EVs today: long charging time and range anxiety (fear of running out of battery).

Conclusion

Huawei’s new battery idea looks very promising. But it will take time to make it cheaper and easy to use on a large scale.

If they succeed, electric cars will become much better and more popular. People won’t have to worry about charging or driving long distances anymore.

We will keep you updated on this exciting technology!

Tata is working on a new compact SUV called Scarlet (code name). It will be Tata’s second compact SUV after the Nexon. Its design will look strong and boxy, like the old Tata Sierra.

The Scarlet will have a strong body and will come in both petrol and electric versions. The petrol engine will be similar to Nexon’s engine. The electric version might have two motors and an all-wheel-drive system (AWD), which will help in better grip on the road.

3. Maruti Fronx Hybrid

In 2026, Maruti will bring a new hybrid version of the Fronx. This new Fronx Hybrid will use Maruti’s own hybrid system. It will have a 1.2-liter petrol engine along with an electric motor.

This hybrid Fronx is expected to give a very high mileage of more than 35 km per liter, making it very fuel-efficient. The design will be almost the same as the current model but will have a ‘Hybrid’ badge. The higher versions might also get new safety features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).

4. Tata Punch Facelift

The Tata Punch will get a new update in October 2025. The new version will look more modern, similar to the Punch EV.

Inside, it will have a new steering wheel, a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a full digital display for the driver. The engine will stay the same 1.2-liter petrol engine, which is simple and trusted.

5. New-Gen Tata Nexon

Tata will also launch a new generation of the Nexon by the end of 2026 or early 2027. This new Nexon, called Garud (code name), will have a totally new design and a better, more premium interior.

It will continue to use petrol and diesel engines. Tata will also keep offering a CNG version for people who want a more affordable running cost.
