VinFast is a car company from Vietnam. It has started bookings for its new electric cars in India — VF 6 and VF 7. These cars will launch during the festive season this year.

You can book these cars now by paying ₹21,000. This amount is refundable. You can book at VinFast showrooms or on their website.

VinFast is opening showrooms fast in India. Right now, it has 32 showrooms in 27 cities.

By the end of this year, VinFast will open 3 more, so there will be 35 showrooms in total.

VinFast showed the VF 6 and VF 7 cars at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in Delhi. Later, they also showed these cars in 11 other cities.

Top 10 Best-Selling Cars in India (Jan-June 2025) — WagonR Number 1, Creta Top SUV

In the first half of 2025 (January to June), car sales in India changed a lot. Some cars sold more, some sold less. Maruti Suzuki had many cars in the top 10 list, showing it is still very strong.

WagonR is Number 1 Again

The Maruti WagonR was the best-selling car in India. It sold 1,01,424 cars. This is more than what it sold last year at the same time.

Creta is Best-Selling SUV

The Hyundai Creta came in second place. It sold 1,00,560 cars. This is 10% more than last year. It is now the best-selling SUV in India.

Dzire and Brezza Also in Top 5

The Maruti Dzire was in third place with 96,101 cars sold, which is 2% more than last year.

The Maruti Brezza was fourth with 93,729 cars, which is 4% more than last year.

Swift Moves Up

The Maruti Swift came in fifth place. It sold 93,098 cars, which is 11% more than last year. A new model helped it sell more.

New Suzuki Jimny Getting More Safety Features, Launch Soon

The Suzuki Jimny first came out in 2018. Since then, it has not changed much. Even after 7 years, many people still love this small and strong SUV.

Now, Suzuki is planning to add some new safety features to the Jimny. A big new design update (facelift) is not coming yet, but these small updates will make the car safer.

New Safety Features Coming

A report from Japan says that Suzuki will give these new safety features to the Jimny and Jimny Sierra (3-door version) in August 2025.

The Jimny will get a safety package called Suzuki Safety Support, which has modern safety systems to help the driver.

One important new feature is called Dual Camera Brake Support (DCBS). This system uses two cameras in front of the car to see people, vehicles, and road lines.

How DCBS Works

• First, it gives a warning on the dashboard if something is in front.
• If the danger gets higher, it starts braking a little by itself.
• If the driver presses the brake, the system adds more force to stop the car faster.

• The Jimny Sierra has a 1.5-litre petrol engine (same as in India) that makes 101 hp power and 130 Nm torque. It also has 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, and 4WD is standard.

MG sold 5,829 cars in India in June 2025. This is 26% more than June last year (4,644 cars). But it is 8% less than May 2025.

Windsor EV Is Number One

The new Windsor EV was MG’s best-selling car.

• Sold 3,799 cars in June.
• Sold a little less than May (down 4%), but still on top.

Comet

The small Comet sold 856 cars in June.

• 34% less than June last year (1,300 cars).
• But a little better than May (up 4%).

Hector

The Hector SUV sold 757 cars.

• 56% less than June last year (1,713 cars).

The ZS EV electric car sold 317 cars.
