Tata Curvv EV: Bigger Battery, 400 km Range — But Why Are Sales Lower Than MG Windsor and Mahindra Born EVs?

⚡🚗 Tata Curvv EV Has a Big 55kWh Battery and 400 km Range — But Why Are Sales Low Compared to MG Windsor and Mahindra Born EVs?

The Tata Curvv EV has a big 55kWh battery and can go 400 km on one charge. This is very good on paper. But still, its sales are lower than the MG Windsor and Mahindra Born EVs. Let’s see why this is happening.

💡 1️⃣ Brand Image

Many people think MG and Mahindra EVs feel more premium and stylish.

  • MG Windsor looks modern and fancy.
  • Mahindra Born EVs look bold and sporty.

Tata is known for strong and value-for-money cars, but not seen as very premium. Many EV buyers want a car that feels special and luxurious.

💡 2️⃣ Design and Features

The Tata Curvv EV looks good, but not as futuristic as MG and Mahindra.

  • MG Windsor has a cool design, hidden door handles, and nice lights.
  • Mahindra EVs have bold looks that many young people like.

Inside, MG and Mahindra give more premium things like bigger screens, sunroofs, better seats, and more features.

💡 3️⃣ Technology

MG and Mahindra give more advanced tech.

  • MG has a voice assistant, 360-degree camera, and many smart features.
  • Mahindra has strong software, big touchscreens, and more connected services.

Tata Curvv EV has good tech, but not as many modern features as these two.

💡 4️⃣ Charging and Service

MG and Mahindra have better charging support.

  • MG gives free home charger and access to many public fast chargers.
  • Mahindra also offers good charging network and roadside help for EVs.

Tata has its charging network, but people feel MG and Mahindra give better service.

💡 5️⃣ Marketing

MG and Mahindra use big advertisements, events, and social media to create excitement.

Tata’s marketing for Curvv EV is more simple and practical. It does not create as much hype among buyers.

💡 6️⃣ Price

Some people think the Curvv EV price is too high for a Tata car.

  • MG and Mahindra customers are ready to pay more for style and brand image.
  • Tata is seen as a budget-friendly brand, so people expect lower prices.

✅ Conclusion

Even though the Tata Curvv EV has a big battery and long range, sales are lower because of its brand image, design, tech features, and price.

⭐ Final Thoughts

The Curvv EV is still a good choice with strong range and Tata’s trust. If Tata improves design, adds more tech, and changes its image, it can sell better in the future.

What do you think? Would you buy the Curvv EV or choose MG or Mahindra? Tell us!

Maruti Suzuki Ends June 2025 With 1.68 lakh Units In SalesCategoriesCar News

Maruti Suzuki Sells 1.68 Lakh Units in June 2025 — Strong Performance

🚗📉 Maruti Suzuki Sells 1.68 Lakh Cars in June 2025 — India Sales Down, Exports Up

Maruti Suzuki shared its sales numbers for June 2025. The company sold a total of 1,67,993 cars last month. This is 6% less than June last year.

🇮🇳 Sales in India Go Down

In India, Maruti sold 1,21,339 cars in June 2025. This is 15% less than the 1,39,918 cars sold in June 2024.

Maruti also sells some cars to other car companies (mainly Toyota). These sales went up a little, from 8,277 cars last year to 8,812 cars this year.

If we add these together, Maruti sold 1,30,151 cars in India in June 2025, which is 12% less than last year.

🚘 Sales by Car Type

Maruti sold fewer cars in almost all categories:

  • Small cars (Alto, S-Presso): Down from 9,395 to 6,414 cars.
  • Compact cars (Swift, Baleno, etc.): Down from 64,049 to 54,177 cars.
  • Mid-size cars (Ciaz): Went up from 572 to 1,028 cars because they were selling the last remaining stock.
  • SUVs/MPVs (Brezza, Fronx, Ertiga, etc.): Down from 53,028 to 48,602 cars.
  • Van (Eeco): Down from 10,771 to 9,340 cars.
  • Mini truck (Super Carry): Down from 2,758 to 2,433 cars.

🌍 Exports Go Up

While sales in India went down, Maruti did better in other countries. The company exported 37,842 cars in June 2025. This is 22% more than June 2024.

📊 April–June 2025 (Quarter 1) Sales

From April to June 2025 (three months), Maruti sold 5,27,861 cars. This is a small growth of about 1% compared to the same time last year.

  • India sales (including other car companies): Down from 4,51,308 to 4,30,889 cars.
  • Exports: Up from 70,560 to 96,972 cars.

💡 What This Means

Maruti is still the biggest car company in India. But sales in India are going down because of more competition and higher prices. Exports are growing well and helping Maruti stay strong overall.

⭐ Conclusion

In June 2025, Maruti Suzuki sold 1.68 lakh cars. Sales in India were lower, but exports were higher.
