🚐 2 New Electric MPVs Launching This Month — Battery, Range & Features
There are not many electric MPVs (big family cars) in India. But this month, two new electric MPVs are coming. These new cars will give people more choices if they want a big electric family car.

⚡ 1. MG M9 — India’s First Made-in-India Electric MPV
The MG M9 is a big and luxury electric MPV. It was first shown at Auto Expo 2025.
- It is very big and spacious, good for big families.
- It will have seven seats in a 2+2+3 layout.
- Inside, it has brown color seats, and the second-row seats have massage, heating, and cooling.
- There is a big 12.3-inch screen for music and info, and a 7-inch screen for driving info.
- The front seats also have massage, heating, and cooling.
Battery and Range:
- Big 90 kWh battery.
- Range: Can go up to 548 km on one charge.
- Fast charging: Can charge fully in about 1.5 hours with a fast charger.
- Home charging: Takes about 10 hours with a normal home charger.
The MG M9 will be sold at special MG showrooms and will launch at the end of July 2025.
⚡ 2. Kia Carens Clavis EV
The Kia Carens Clavis EV is the electric version of the Kia Carens.
- It also has seven seats, good for families.
- It will have two battery options:
- 51.4 kWh battery, range up to 490 km.
- A smaller 42 kWh battery may also come.
- Power:
- Smaller battery: 133 hp.
- Bigger battery: 169 hp.
